Daniel’s grandfather, world-renowned sculptor Avard T. Fairbanks, and his father Justin Fairbanks, were famous for their sculpture presentations given around the world. During these demonstrations, they sculpted a statue in less than an hour while speaking to an audience. Daniel carries on this tradition with sculpture presentations highlighting the accomplishments of great contributors to human society and knowledge, such as Abraham Lincoln, Florence Nightingale, Charles Darwin, Gregor Mendel, Barbara McClintock, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Rosalind Franklin, and others. He also presents portrait-sculpture presentations, sculpting the portrait of a person on the spot during a ceremony honoring that individual.
